Have you ever been afraid of liking someone before?
I feel like a little girl right now but, please, let me just get something out there.
I’m afraid. That’s the truth.
There’s this boy. He’s wrong for me.
He’s been hurt, badly, and he’s built a shield over him.
And he thinks he’s okay there.
But this boy. He’s got a beautiful mind.
He gets things but he doesn’t understand them.
He finds things but he doesn’t receive them.
I believe he can’t.
This boy.
When he walks, he doesn’t take steps.
When he sings, he opens himself up in the most guarded way.
It’s not just about the appearance to me. Honest.
I want to get inside of his head.
Uncover his heart.
I’m used to just letting these kind of attractions go.
Waiting for the next thing in life to wash it away.
Let knowledge take its place.
I want to take him by the hand and show him love.
Every day I wish he’d look me in the eyes and open his mouth.
Certainly everything happens for some brilliant reason.

NEVER listen to this advice. If you love something hold onto it. Never let it go. Fight for it or you don’t really love it.

I highly respect you, Brandon, but i don’t agree with this. I believe that when we let go of things we love it makes us vulnerable and we need weakness. True strength isn’t shown until we are truly nothing.
With all of my heart, i believe that God can’t do greater things in our lives unless we let go. And when we finally release the things that we hold so dear to us, we lose control of everything and make ourselves dependent on the Lord.
I’ve seen what happens when you let go of something you love and i’ve seen what God can do with our lives when we take our hands off of the wheel completely.
It happened with my parent’s marriage.
today was the first time i’ve seen the moon in about a month.
